Summary:
Summary: The odds are long that all four Latina Republicans will make it to Capitol Hill. But they just might. And when they get there, they will already have a monicker waiting for them. The Democrats have The Squad. Meet "The Quad."

Summary: All that winning made Democrats terribly complacent, and mediocre to the bone. A lack of competition will do that. ... Now Republicans face the peril of repeating Democrats' mistakes. The right may think that it can treat Latino support as an entitlement and keep its focus on the angry White voters — including the insurrectionist wing — who comprise their base. They seem to honestly believe that Latinos found their way to the GOP because the party has great candidates, strong ideas, and sound policies. ... Speaking of dreamers.
From the editorial: "Our visitors come by car (and in vans, campers, and trucks), and we can’t afford for them not to come. So if knocking 47 cents per gallon off the price of gas ensures they still do this summer, we have to scream out our support."

"American life is not bleak, in my opinion. If you want to find the goodness, the Americana we love, go out and experience rural America."
Summary: Listen up, college grads. Learn to be comfortable with your accomplishments. Take your victory lap — just not in the fields. You've earned your ticket out. You don't have to go back, not even for a photo-op.
Summary: A Nixon punishment that truly fit Nixon’s 1970s crimes against our democracy may have made Jan. 6, 2021, just another forgettable date on our calendars.

Summary: With the primary now just weeks away, the lack of a real discussion of issues is stunning, and depressing. It’s beyond comprehension that Missouri voters would consider a Eric Greitens who resigned his office in disgrace under so many clouds. He shouldn’t get near any elected office, or any position of responsibility.

Summary: I once heard the late evangelist Rev. Billy Graham say America was not at a crossroads, but had traveled down the wrong road and needed to come back to the crossroads and take the right road. What if we can no longer agree on the right road and where the wrong road is leading us?
