A couple of dogs were found deceased after firefighters responded to a house fire reported Friday in Farming Township. The two homeowners were not in the house at the time of the fire, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Driver Cody Nathaniel-Robert Gravelle, 25, of St. Cloud, suffered unspecified injuries after a semitractor-trailer loaded with bottled water rolled onto its side along Stearns County Road 10 south of Albany, Minnesota.

A fire over the weekend in Albany Township burned a pasture and swamp. The fire was caused by a woman cooking maple syrup outdoors. The fire was extinguished and the woman issued a citation.

ALBANY — Dozens of people came out Monday to support business owner Kris Schiffler at his restaurant and bar in Albany after he announced he planned to open in defiance of Gov. Tim Walz’s executive order that keeps such businesses closed until at least June 1.
