Ralph Apmann, 58, failed to appear for his murder trial Monday in Cottonwood County District Court and hasn't been seen since. On Tuesday a jury found him guilty for the murder of Juan Morales-Rivera.
Officers “retreated as the man advanced towards them,” police said.
One officer shot him with a taser and another one fired shots, which struck the man.
A family of five was shot to death by Neil M. Pladson in 1970. Pladson was imprisoned, then released to a halfway house in 1987. A year later, he was found strangled to death in his apartment.
