Area school districts have openings for tutors who are needed to help students get back on track after the upheaval of the pandemic.
Interviews for a new superintendent of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Public Schools began Monday and will continue Tuesday. The School Board is conducting the interviews in the media center at ACGC High School Media Center in Grove City, and they are open to the public.
New buildings, additions and remodeling are under construction or have been finished in the Willmar, New London-Spicer, Litchfield, MACCRAY, Paynesville Area, Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City and other districts.

School districts in the area have had students in their buildings most of the school year, and many employees have been vaccinated in the past month. School leaders say the vaccine has eased people's minds and should help keep kids in schools.
Several area school districts are waiting until later in the month to decide how to begin fall classes. In their case, they are in Kandiyohi County. The county has a higher two-week COVID-19 rate that some others in the area.
The Minnesota Department of Education will tell public schools soon how they will be opening the 2020-21 school year. Surveys indicate that most families want their children to return to classes in school buildings.
