There are 10 girls basketball games on the area schedule Tuesday as 15 area teams open their season.
Highlighting today's action is Hancock hosting Montevideo and Yellow Medicine East hosting Paynesville. Hancock placed fourth at last season's Class A State Tournament and YME was the Section 3AA runner-up last year.
Other games pitting two area teams include Central Minnesota Christian at Renville County West, Dawson-Boyd at MACCRAY, Morris/Chokio-Alberta at BOLD and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart.
