Video: State Basketball: Miracle heave sends CMCS to defeat in Class A quarters

MINNEAPOLIS -- North Wood's Cade Goggleye banked in a miracle shot from beyond half court to lead the Grizzlies to a 54-51 victory over Central Minnesota Christian School in the Class A Minnesota State Boys Basketball Tournament on Thursday at Williams Arena.

Goggleye's 3-point heave came just seconds after CMCS' Austin Marcus hit a shot with three seconds left to tie the game at 51. See video of the shot here.

CMCS (26-4), which finished third the last two years, now will have to settle for a shot at a consolation championship. The Bluejays play Lake Park-Audubon in the consolation semifinals at noon Friday at Concordia-St. Paul.

See this web site and Friday's Tribune print edition for more on the game.
