MINNEAPOLIS - Willmar's 200 Freestyle Relay team won in the consolation finals and the Cardinals' 400 Freestyle Relay placed second as the Class A State Swim & Dive Championships wrapped up Saturday at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota.

Both relay teams were comprised of Jacob Meyer, Mateo Marin-Mera, Colin O'Farrell and Ayden Schueler. The 200 relay team finished in 1:30.16 and the 400 team finished in 3:17.84.

Schueler had the Cardinals' top individual finish with a second-place touch in the 200 Freestyle consolation race at 1:48.88. O'Farrell was eighth in 1:53.26.

Marin-Mera placed sixth in the 100 Butterfly consolation final and Meyer also placed sixth in the 100 Freestyle consolation final.
