COON RAPIDS — Ridgewater picked up its fourth win in five matches after coming away with a sweep over Anoka-Ramsey on Wednesday, 25-13, 25-18, 25-18.

With the victory, the Warriors move to 4-3 on the year heading into a home matchup Friday against top-ranked Rochester Technical and Community College, followed by another home match against Western Tech on Saturday.

Emily Knight gave Ridgewater a lift all over the court, finishing with 25 set assists, eight kills, two ace serves, five digs and one block. Her favorite target to pass to was Lydia Wagner with 11 kills, followed by eight from Morgan Gronli. Gronli also tallied a team-high four ace serves in the victory.

The Cardinals were 2-for-3 in doubles play, with Rebecca Laurence and Caroline Becker winning in three sets at No. 2 while Alise and Ashlie Staebell were victorious in three sets at No. 3.
