Five high school football players from the West Central Tribune area were named to the All-Academic team, released by the Minnesota High School Football Coaches Association Monday.
The players receiving the honor were Brendon Foss of Hancock, Jackson Henrich of Morris, Mason Hegna of Yellow Medicine East, Alex Gay of BOLD and Joey Sisser of New London-Spicer.
Teams from the area making the list include YME in Class AA Gold, Benson and Minnewaska in Class AA Silver, and NLS, Litchfield and Montevideo in Class AAA Gold.
