KIMBALL - Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City ended a 10-match losing streak with a three-set, non-conference sweep of Kimball on Monday, 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.
Winning for the first time since Aug. 25, the Falcons got nine kills apiece from Lindsey Minnick and Shayna Hobson. Minnick also had nine digs and two solo blocks while Hobson also helped at the net with two blocks. Jeana Denton finished with a team-high 11 digs.
ACGC returns home Tuesday for a West Central Conference match against Minnewaska.

Muggs Van Hauen scored a hole-in-one on Sept. 13 at the Hawk Creek Country Club in Raymond. Van Hauen aced the 166-yard, par 3 No. 3 hole with a 9-iron.
Hall of Fame
Clarke to honor Boike
Clara City native Lon Boike is among five new inductees to the Clarke University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Boike will be joined in the HOF ceremonies on Oct. 6 by Joemi Byrd, Melissa Mennig, Nicky Newhoff and Ashley Shields.
Boike, a native of Clara City, Minn., was a member of Clarke's athletic
program from 1989 to 2000. During that period, he spent time as athletic
director, coach and instructor.

Boike served as Clarke's athletic director from 1993 to 2000. He also guided Clarke's women's basketball program for seven years and spent two seasons as Clarke's head softball coach. Boike served as Clarke's head women's volleyball coach for six years, from
1989 to 1992 and again in 1996 and 1997. Prior to joining the Clarke staff, Boike served as athletic director, instructor and head women's basketball and volleyball coach at College of St.
Teresa in Winona.
Boike had also served as a teacher and coach at Audubon Public Schools, Crookston Public School District, and he served as athletic director at the University of Minnesota-Crookston
from 2000 to 2003.
