With the holiday weekend approaching, baseball fans will have to go to area amateur baseball games to get their fix.
Friday, Paynesville plays at Atwater at 7:30 p.m. in a Cornbelt South game, and Litchfield hosts Eden Valley at the same time.
There are three Cornbelt League games on Sunday, with Norway Lake-Sunburg at Regal at 1:30 p.m., then two evening games as Bird Island hosts Raymond at 6 p.m. and Willmar is at Granite Falls at 7:30 p.m.
Legion baseball resumes Monday.
