ATWATER - JaColby Anderson drove in three runs and also struck out four over the final two innings in Atwater’s 8-3 County Line League win over Paynesville on Friday.
Anderson relieved Vance Martin, who allowed just two unearned runs over seven innings to get the win.
Paynesville’s Aaron Savelkoul homered in the eighth.
The Chuckers continue play in the Highway 55 Tournament at 5:45 p.m. today against the winner of today’s Clear Lake-Hibbing game.

Starbuck’s arms wore out and the Stars fell to Granite Falls in seven innings on Friday.
The Stars led 5-3 heading into the bottom of the sixth, but the Kilowatts broke open the game with six runs and then scored six more in the seventh to end the game.

Tyler Kanten was 1-for-4 but drove in four runs and Phil Johnson, Craig Listul and Travis Enger all drove in two runs.
Jake Amundson and Tyler Nielson both had three hits for the Stars.
