The Blues’ Joey Hyde tosses a 7-hitter to stymie Rockets

LITCHFIELD— Joey Hyde pitched a seven-hitter to lead the Litchfield Blues past the Raymond Rockets at Optimist Park.

Litchfield beat Raymond, 5-2.

Hyde struck out six, walked one, allowing seven hits.

Dylan Koll led the Blues by going 3-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch. He drove in two runs and stole three bases. Hyde was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.

For Raymond, Paxton Nelson went 2-for-4 with two runs and Brett Swanson was 2-for-3 with a run.


Litchfield’s next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday at Optimist Park. The Blues play a North Star League game against the Howard Lake Orphans.

Raymond has a Corn Belt League game at 5 p.m. Sunday at Granite Falls against the Kilowatts.
