WILLMAR - Sacred Heart scored nine unanswered runs against the Willmar bullpen and the Saints slugged their way past the Rails 14-9 on Sunday at Bill Taunton Stadium.
The Saints’ Jeremy Hinderks capped a four-run rally in the sixth with a bases-clearing double and drove in four runs in all.
Sacred Heart also scored four in the eighth on a hit batter, error and two singles.
Trent Novotny was 2-for-6 with 3 RBIs, and Nate Hebrink and Mitch Schwindt rapped 2 hits apiece.
The Rails put up a four-spot in the sixth on 3 hits and a walk, led by Tyler Brower’s run-scoring double.

RAYMOND - Milroy had just three hits off Raymond starter John Sawatzky - and all three went over the fence in Milroy’s 4-3 win over the Rockets on Sunday.
