Solid pitching led the New London-Spicer Twins to three weekend victories in the tournament in Gaylord and Arlington.
On Sunday, Dean Stier and Patrick Courtney teamed up in the Twins’ 4-3 over Gaylord.
On Saturday, Ben Kulset worked all seven innings, allowing an unearned run on two hits while striking out seven in the Twins’ 7-1 over Heron Lake.
Also on Saturday, Jake Rambow worked seven and struck out five in NLS’ 7-2 win over Lamberton.
