Area Baseball: Bullfrogs open Cornbelt League playoffs with victory

BIRD ISLAND - Dylan Gass homered and drove in three runs, Shawn Dollerschell drove in five runs and Brad Gass worked a solid complete game in Bird Island’s 9-2 Cornbelt League playoff victory over the Willmar Rails on Friday in Bird Island.
Gass also had a double among his three hits and he scored three runs.
Dollerschell doubled, as did Lane Stadther, who drove in a run. Austin Weis also had an RBI and scored twice.
The Bullfrogs move on to play Milroy on Sunday in Milroy.
