WILLMAR — Willmar had a fun, relaxed meet with Bemidji, beating the Lumberjacks in a Central Lakes Conference meet at Willmar.

“(It was a) fun meet for the boys tonight,” said Willmar head coach Carl Shudles. “We were able to mix the lineup around and let them swim some different things tonight.”

The closest victory for the Cardinals came in the 100-yard breaststroke. Willmar junior Aidan O’Meara won in 1 minute, 13.13 seconds. That was the same recorded time for Bemidji’s Brooks Matetich.

Willmar (3-2 CLC, 4-2 overall) is next scheduled to compete at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Sartell.
