GROVE CITY — Jim Higgins of South Haven won the final race of the night Sunday at Grove Creek Raceway.
Higgins, driving a 1969 Chevrolet Nova, finished in 6.673 seconds on the one-eighth-mile track to edge Cole Casteel of Minot, N.D. at the two-day $5K at the Creek races this weekend.

Steve Roehrs of Fredric, Wis., on the final drag race late Saturday at Grove Creek Raceway.
Driving a 1982 Chevrolet Camaro, Roehrs captured the Combo Division title with a time of 6.462 seconds to beat Jason Charlton of Grand Rapids. Charlton was driving a ‘74 Chevrolet Nova and had a time of 7.164.
