A four-run seventh helped Bird Island turn the tables on the Willmar Rails on Wednesday in Bird Island.
The Bullfrogs’ Shawn Dollerschell had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs. Jordan Sagedahl and Reed Stadther both had two hits. Brad Gass got the win in relief and Casey Lewandoski picked up the save.
Willmar’s Jayden Dierenfeld had two hits and drove in a pair and Caleb Ditmarson and Drey Dirksen also had two hits.

Putting up five runs in the bottom of the eighth, New London-Spicer came back for a 9-7 victory over Richmond Wednesday at the Green Lake Ball Diamonds.
Trent Pientka and Derek Dolezal each drove in runs to start the eighth. Then the two crossed home thanks to a three-run home run to left-center by Josh Soine.
It was the Twins’ second homer of the game, with the first coming from Adam Schrader to lead off the bottom of the sixth. Schrader finished the game 2-for-4, leading a New London-Spicer squad that came up with 11 hits on Wednesday.
Mike Danielson got the win after throwing 1-1/3 innings of relief.

The Stars starting hitting when they reached the parking lot and Austin Versteeg worked seven solid innings in a win at Paynesville on Wednesday.
Versteeg was 4-for-5 with two doubles and four RBIs, Matt Gruber also had four hits and drove in three, and Michael Gruber had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs.
Paynesville’s Garrett Leusink had two of the Pirates’ five hits.

A walk and three-straight singles with two outs in the bottom of the ninth led to two runs and Granite Falls’ comeback win over Sacred Heart on Wednesday in Granite Falls.
The Kilowatts’ Jordan Odegard drew a two-out walk in the ninth, Bennett Knapper singled and Cam Vien and Craig Listul followed with RBI singles to plate the tying and winning runs.
Cam Vien had three hits, Brandon Grund was 2-for-2 with an RBI and Markus Kranz and Zac Enevoldsen both had two hits.
The Saints’ Chase Christianson had two hits and drove in two runs and Jacob Grund doubled in a run.
Colten Vien worked all nine innings to get the win.
