Twins, Rockets bow out in Class C

SHAKOPEE - Both area amateur baseball teams lost in the third round of the Class C state tournament game.

New London-Spicer lost 5-2 to Sobieski in Shakopee and Raymond fell 5-4 to Young America in New Prague.

Sobieski advanced to the title game with a 5-2 win over Sartell and a 2-1 win over Young America, but the Skis lost 8-5 to Plato in the championship game on Monday in New Prague.

Against Sobieski, NLS' Austen Hadley homered, doubled and had an RBI and scored a run, and Jake Rambow, Austin Rambow and Wyatt White all had two hits.
