LITCHFIELD — Rockford scored a bucket in the final five seconds to edge Litchfield 50-48 on Tuesday at Litchfield High School.

Litchfield, now 9-4, got 17 points, six rebounds and four steals from Laney Huhner, and Sydney McCann had 12 points, six boards and five assists.

Kamri Driver finished with 11 points.

The Dragons play at Glencoe-Silver Lake at 7 p.m. Friday.

Annandale 48, NLS 35

The battle between Dreiers trended younger this year. Annandale head coach Matt Dreier earned the win over father Mike and the New London-Spicer Wildcats Tuesday night with a powerful defensive effort.

The Cardinals kept the Wildcats to 35 points and scored 48 of their own, including 20 from Hannah Purcell, to earn the win.

New London-Spicer will head back home for a battle with Rockford Friday.

Nicole Wesbur led the way with 13 points and Cassandra Tensen proved to be the only other double digit scorer for the Jaguars with 10 points of her own.

Things couldn't have been more even until overtime when MACCRAY outscored Canby 13-2 to take an overtime victory.

Sydney Schwitters led all scorers with 20 points and teammate Piper Asche followed with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Sage Mecker also reached double digits with 16 points.

TMB eased to a 59-25 Camden Conference win over KMS Tuesday night behind Evelyn Dolan's 13 points and overwhelming defense.

Katie Krieger scored 11 points to lead the saints and added eight rebounds and seven steals.

The Saints will look to get one back in the win column Thursday with a visit to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart to take on the Mustangs.
