Lynx re-sign forward Brunson

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Lynx re-signed forward Rebekkah Brunson, the team's all-time leader in rebounds, the team announced Thursday, Feb. 1.

Per team policy, terms of the deal were not announced.

"We are happy that Rebekkah Brunson, one of the cornerstones of our franchise and the only player in league history with five WNBA Championships, will remain a Lynx," Lynx general manager and head coach Cheryl Reeve said. "From the moment she arrived in Minnesota, Rebekkah has been a vital part of our franchise both on and off the court. She's a tireless worker and passionate leader and we are thrilled that she's decided to continue her career with the Lynx."

Brunson, in her 14th season, averaged 10.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in 2017.
