BBE hoops player in All-Star series

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's Connor Goodwin will be among 40 Minnesota prep players competing in the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association's 30th annual All-Star Basketball Series this weekend.

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's Connor Goodwin will be among 40 Minnesota prep players competing in the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association's 30th annual All-Star Basketball Series this weekend.

Goodwin, a BBE senior, will play for the Blue team coached by Ron Vorwald of Worthington.

The four teams play Friday at Halenbeck Hall at St. Cloud State University at 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. On Saturday, the teams play at 2:15 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Leonard Center at Macalester College in St. Paul.

Tickets are available at the door and are $8 for adults and $6 for children (5-under can attend free).
