ALEXANDRIA -- Logan Bowers' one-out single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning punctuated an Alexandria comeback that produced a 4-3 win over the Willmar Stingers at Knute Nelsen Memorial on Tuesday Night.

For the second night at The Knute, the Stingers rumbled early to take a nice lead and then went quiet for the next seven innings.

Last night they led 3-0 after three and didn't score again. Monday, in the series opener, Willmar led 6-0 after two and barely hung on to win 6-5.

The outcome blunted Willmar's rise up the Northwoods League North standings and halted a four-game win streak.

Alexandria, which had lost three straight, is now 13-11 and a half-game back of third-place Willmar (14-11).
