Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart senior forward Karlee Ilgen has been named a finalist for the Miss Minnesota Basketball award.

Ilgen is averaging 15.8 points-per-game this season for the Mustangs. She helped the team qualify for the state tournament last winter, the first time in the program's history.

She is one of 31 finalists. That number will be reduced to 10 in March and the winner will be announced at the All-Star/Miss Basketball banquet in April.
