BOLD now 8-0 in WCS

PAYNESVILLE -- BOLD remained unbeaten in West Central South Conference volleyball action with sweep over Paynesville 27-25, 25-9, 25-18 Tuesday. The Warriors (8-0, 13-3) turned up the heat on the Bulldogs (1-7, 2-16) after winning a close first game.

PAYNESVILLE -- BOLD remained unbeaten in West Central South Conference volleyball action with sweep over Paynesville 27-25, 25-9, 25-18 Tuesday.

The Warriors (8-0, 13-3) turned up the heat on the Bulldogs (1-7, 2-16) after winning a close first game. BOLD allowed only 27 points in the final two games.

The win gives the Warriors a two-game lead over Benson and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in the race for the conference championship.

BOLD is off the rest of this week, then will host the Falcons next Tuesday. If the Warriors win their next two conference matches, they will earn at least a share of the league crown.
