Boys Basketball: ACGC rallies to beat LQPV, 63-61

MADISON -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City rallied to post a 63-61 win over Lac qui Parle Valley in a West Central South Conference boys basketball game Friday.

MADISON -- Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City rallied to post a 63-61 win over Lac qui Parle Valley in a West Central South Conference boys basketball game Friday.

The Falcons (6-8, 8-13) outscored LQPV (4-10, 7-13) by 10 points in the second half after the Eagles led 34-26 at halftime.

Eric Paulson hit a three-pointer with 10 seconds left to get LQPV within one before Mitch Tauer made a free throw to put ACGC up by two. LQPV then had a mid-range jumper fall short at the buzzer.

Aaron Kinzler paced the Falcons with 19 points with Tauer adding 14, Jacob Belgum 11, Logan Jacobs 10 and Trever Heining nine to complete the scoring. Heining also grabbed 11 rebounds.

Dylan Erickson sparked LQPV with 18 points. Paulson added 13 and Joey Schreck collected 12 points and nine rebounds.
