BIRD ISLAND - The BOLD Warriors wants to push the pace on the offensive end. They did just that on Thursday night.

The Warriors scored 53 second-half points to pull away from New Ulm Cathedral in a 88-60 win to improve to 5-1 on the year.

Carter Henry scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead BOLD, and Gavin Vosika posted another near-triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

The Warriors played at a frenetic pace in the first half, taking a 35-23 lead into the locker room, but really picked things up over the final 18 minutes. With 53 second-half points, BOLD upped its season average to 77 points per game-the 14th-highest number in Class A.

Devin Gluesing added 19 points and seven rebounds and Jordan Sagedahl had 11 points to round out the Warriors double-digit scorers.

Jaren Kaddatz led the Falcons with 14 points as Sauk Centre's Cade Neubert took led the way with 17 points.

The Tribune coverage area hasn't seen a player log a triple-double yet this year but Dawson-Boyd's Alex Swenson came about as close as possible Thursday night. The Blackjack guard logged a game-high 20 points with 13 rebounds and eight assists as Dawson-Boyd nearly doubled up their visitors.

Joe Anyasike and Bentley Boike each added 11 points while Seth Stratmoen finished with 12 points.

Braden Hoekstra led the Wolverines with 10 points, four rebounds and two assists.
