GROVE CITY -- Shane Bosek erupted for 31 points to help Minnewaska shoot 55 percent from the field and Brady Johnsrud added five 3-pointers as the Lakers upended Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 80-49 in a West Central South Conference boys basketball game Friday.
The undefeated Lakers (2-0, 4-0) never looked back after establishing a 47-26 lead at halftime. Johnsrud netted 15 of his 18 points beyond the arc as the Lakers were 11-for-18 from three-point range. Bosek made three treys.
No other player scored more than seven points for Minnewaska.
Trever Heining had 19 points and seven rebounds, and Mitchell Tauer made three 3-pointers on the way to finishing with 14 points for the Falcons (0-2, 0-4).
