WILLMAR - Down 30-27 in the second half against St. Cloud Apollo, Willmar's Hamza Mohamed hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put his team up 33-30.

That sparked a 20-3 run for the Cardinals, who never had to look back in a 53-43 Central Lakes Conference win over the Eagles on Friday.

Twelve of Mohamed's points came in the second half as he tied Ryan Slette for a team-high 14 points. Drey Dirksen followed with 10 points, six rebounds and four steals.
