WILLMAR - Sartell outscored Willmar by 20 points in the second half to pull away and earn its ninth consecutive Central Lakes Conference win on the season.
Brandon Snoberger scored 17 points and Kyle Och added 10 points and dished out two assists in the victory.
The Cardinals started out of the gate strong by holding a 11-6 advantage at the 9:58 mark of the first half. From there they would hold the lead until halftime.
With the loss, this marks the first time since 1945-46 that a Willmar boys’ basketball team has gone winless in conference play.
Noah Slagter recorded 24 points and Max Trochil had seven for the Cardinals.
Willmar finishes its regular season 0-15 in conference play and 3-23 overall.
