DAWSON -- Matt Anderson poured in 25 points and threaded 10 assists as Dawson-Boyd ended Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's 11-game winning streak with a 77-72 non-conference boys basketball win on Thursday.
Dawson-Boyd (9-5) bolted to a 15-point lead early in the game and maintained a comfortable lead until BBE surged late in the game and closed within two points with one minute left. But Anderson and Andrew Roiger each hit a pair of crucial free throws, while BBE (14-3) made only 1-of-4 free shots down the stretch.
Roiger finished with 17 points and eight rebounds. Kruiz Lindblad had 14 points.
Dawson-Boyd hit 10-of-27 three-pointers with Anderson sinking four of them.
Weller had three of BBE's six 3-pointers.
