Boys Basketball: Foss scores 1,000th point, but Hancock loses to CGB

HANCOCK -- Brendon Foss hurdled the 1,000-point career scoring mark, but the Owls lost to Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 76-68 in a Pheasant Conference boys basketball game Friday.

HANCOCK -- Brendon Foss hurdled the 1,000-point career scoring mark, but the Owls lost to Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 76-68 in a Pheasant Conference boys basketball game Friday.

Foss needed sev-en points to reach 1,000. A three-pointer with a 12:20 left in the first half pushed him past the milestone. The game was stopped and he was given the game ball. He now has 1,025 points.

Foss finished with 32 points. He also led the team with 17 rebounds. Dylan Reese and Drew Schmidgall followed with 11 points apiece.

Zach McNally led CGB with 26 points and Justin Siefert followed with 18 points.
