Boys Basketball: Kannegiesser’s big night leads Owl to section win

HANCOCK - Noah Kannegiesser had a huge game with 29 points and 14 assists as Hancock defeated Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley 83-71 in the first round of the Section 6A tournament on Monday.
Three other players scored in double figures for the Owls with Logan Kisgen scoring 15, Chandler Gramm 14, and Colin Brown 13.
In the rebounding department, Brandon Shaw pulled down 12. and Brown had eight boards
C-G-B committed 21 fouls resulting in 35 free throw attempts for Hancock.
The Wolverines were led by Jordan Bauer with 19 points and Michael McKee and Sam Bauer both recording 15.
With the victory, the Owls travel to Barrett and will look to pull off the upset over No. 2 seed West Central Area on Thursday at 7 p.m.
