HECTOR -- Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg sank 50 percent of its shots from the field to beat Buffalo Lake-Hector 70-54 in a non-conference boys basketball game Thursday.
The Fighting Saints (8-12) connected on 7-of-14 attempts from the beyond the arc.
Marc Beckman paced the team with four treys and 18 points, plus a team-high nine rebounds. Cole Berget followed with 17 points, Chris Vadnais had 11 and Bryan Schlagel 10.
Cole Witter recorded 12 points and eight boards for the Mustangs (3-18). Ben Maiers had 11 points and eight rebounds, and Ryan Haun chipped in 11 points and six boards.
