MONTEVIDEO -- Jeff Jerve's big double-double of 26 points and 20 rebounds paced Montevideo during a 76-65 win over Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in West Central South boys basketball on Thursday.
The Thunder Hawks (10-3, 15-6) dominated the Falcons (7-6, 12-9) on the boards, 37-23. Montevideo put the game away at the foul line in the final minutes, scoring nine points from the stripe.
Brett Bergeson added 16 points for Montevideo, and Ryan Boike had 13 points.
Joel Slinden's 18 points paced ACGC, followed by Jordan Tanner with 13 and Jeff Peterson with 11.
