SAUK CENTRE -- New London-Spicer gained at least a share of the West Central North Conference title by beating Sauk Centre 65-49 in boys basketball action Monday.
The Wildcats (14-0, 23-1) lead Albany by two games in the league standings with two remaining. NL-Spicer can clinch the conference title outright by beating Foley Thursday at home.
Aaron Johnson scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats. Aaron Jenny followed with 14 points and Erik Tengwall had 11 points and five steals. Justin Zylstra hooked 13 boards.
Tyler Berning had 13 points and Bryce Hentges 10 to pace Sauk Centre (1-14, 3-19).

Shane Bosek was 16-for-21 from the field, including 5-for-7 on three-point attempts, en route to netting a game-high 40 points to ignite Minnewaska (11-3, 14-6). Bosek had 26 points at halftime as the Lakers owned a 53-34 lead after the first half.
The Lakers also got 11 points apiece from Brady Johnsrud and Jake Mikkelson and nine assists from Mike Whittemore.
Jordan Schleper had 16 points and Jason Kampsen 15 to lead Paynesville (4-10, 5-13).
