FOLEY -- New London-Spicer rallied from a rare halftime deficit to stay undefeated in West Central North Conference boys basketball with a 75-67 win over Foley Friday.
The Falcons (3-4, 4-7) held a 38-37 halftime lead, thanks in part to 13 Wildcats fouls.
NL-Spicer (7-0, 15-1), the No. 1 team in Class AA, benefited from the foul line in the game, making 38 trips to the charity stripe and making 28.
Erik Tengwall's night was spent evenly scoring points and grabbing rebounds with 16 of each. Justin Zylstra added 15 points, Aaron Jenny 11 and Jayme Moten 10.
Aaron Zimmer's game-high 28 points led Foley. Eric Oines followed with 12.
