ALBANY -- Jayme Moten scored 16 points in his first game in nearly a month and Aaron Jenny and Aaron Johnson netted 17 points each to help New London-Spicer hand Albany its first loss as the Wildcats rolled to a 68-55 win in a West Central North Conference boys basketball game Tuesday.
Moten drained three 3-pointers in the first half to help NLS gain a 14-point advantage at halftime.
Moten and Tengwall went 9-for-10 at the free-throw line in final two minutes to ice the win for NLS. Johnson finished with a double-double after grabbing 11 rebounds.
NLS (5-0, 11-1) now gains the upper hand in the conference title race as Albany falls to 5-1 in the loop.
