Boys Basketball: Three in double figures not enough for Cards against Moorhead

MOORHEAD - A Leif Engen double-double lifted Moorhead to a 68-58 win over Willmar in boys basketball Saturday.Engen had 22 points and 13 rebounds. Matt Bye added 16 points and Matt Jenkins 14, as the Spuds sent the Cardinals to a ninth-straight loss.

Noah Streed was one of three players to score in double-figures for Willmar, finishing with 17 points. Noah Slagter added 12 and Tate Hovland 11.
Tyler Johnson had a team-high eight rebounds for the Cardinals.
Willmar hosts Sauk Rapids-Rice Thursday.
