GRANITE FALLS -- After losing to BOLD by 23 points in the first meeting of the season, Yellow Medicine East evened the season series with a 61-46 West Central South Conference boys basketball victory on Tuesday.
Taylor Olson scored 17 points for the Sting (3-11, 6-15), including three 3-pointers, to go along with six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Dylan Lindstrom added 16 points and Kris Goss 12.
For BOLD (4-10, 10-12), which beat YME 77-54 last Tuesday in Bird Island, Tyler Hebrink finished with 13 points. Brandon Ochs 12 and Shawn Dollerschell eight points and 10 rebounds.

After trailing by as many as 12 points in the first half, Benson (8-6, 13-10) eventually took a 33-28 halftime lead, then proceeded to outscore Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 55-37 in the second half.
Cody Jaeger's game-high 23 points paced a group of five Braves in double figures. Jeff Berens followed with 12 points, Sam Peterson had 11 and Jed Eix and Brennan Kent each had 10.
Tim Masse had 19 points, Trev3r Heining 14 and Mitchell Tauer 13 for the Falcons (1-13, 2-19).
