SARTELL -- The Fergus Falls Otters overtook Alexandria in the final conference meet to win the Central Lakes boys golf championship Monday.

Willmar placed eighth in the meet and eighth in the final standings. Grant Kallevig tied for eight after shooting an 80. He also made all-conference with the eighth-best average.

Alexandria entered the last of the five meets -- this one for double points -- leading by 2½ points over Fergus Falls. But the Otters shot 316 in high winds to place first, while Alexandria came in fourth with 335 strokes.
