BENSON -- Zach Hauser of MACCRAY shot 77 to tie for low score at the Section 5A Boys Golf Tournament on Wednesday held at the Benson Golf Course.
Also qualifying for the Class A state tournament at Pebble Creek in Becker are three Dawson-Boyd golfers: Easton Popma with a 78, Ryan Sumner at 84 and Aaron Lange at 87.
The Blackjacks finished two strokes short of first-place Ortonville for the team trip to state. The Trojans shot 344 to 346 for Dawson-Boyd.
Jade Hasslen of Ortonville also shot a 77.
The 36-hole Class A event runs June 15-16.
