ST. CLOUD - Willmar senior No. 1 Tony Kallevig fired a 3-under 69 to lead a large field and the Cardinals placed second to Buffalo among 17 teams on Wednesday at the 41st St. Cloud Apollo Invitational.
The Bison shot 307 at The Territory and Willmar and Edina each shot 311 for the top four - the Cardinals were officially second with a best fifth score.
Also for Willmar, Levi Hauser shot 79, Zach Berget 80 and Brady Damhof 83.
The meet drew eight of the nine Central Lakes Conference schools with Alexandria second to Willmar at 319.
