WILLMAR - Willmar's Eldridge DeKraai's goal early in the third period gave the Cardinals a lead, but Redwood Valley's Luke Ryan countered with two-straight goals to complete his hat trick and lead his team to the win Saturday at the Willmar Civic Center.

Ryan scored RV's first goal in the first minute of the second period to tie the game 1-1. Willmar's Tanner Bauman scored the game's first goal in the first period.

RV's John Burman added an insurance goal in the third. RV goalie Kia Jacobson made 21 saves and Willmar's Gunnar Banks stopped 29 of 33 shots.

Morris/Benson Area stormed back into the game with three third-period goals but Prairie Centre's Hunter Fletcher scored unassisted at 9:31 of overtime to secure the Section 6A win on Saturday at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena.

Prairie Centre led 3-1 after two periods, but MBA's Zander Hoffman and Brady Goff scored third-period goals to tie the game. After PC regained the lead on Brady Miller's goal, MBA's Brady DeHaan tied it again with an unassisted goal at 11:07 of the third.

MBA's Chase Engebretson was busy in goal, stopping 68 of 73 Prairie Centre shots.
