Boys soccer: Cards' soccer match to be played Friday

Due to the impending rain event this weekend, the Willmar boys soccer match in North Mankato that was scheduled for Saturday has been moved up a day.

Due to the impending rain event this weekend, the Willmar boys soccer match in North Mankato that was scheduled for Saturday has been moved up a day.

The Cardinals-Mankato West match in the Section 2A quarterfinal-round will now be played at 4 p.m. Friday at Dakota Meadows Middle School. Willmar is the No. 7 seed while West is No. 2.

Up to an inch of rain is forecasted for central and southern Minnesota on Saturday.
