Boys Soccer: St. Peter upends CMCS

PRINSBURG -- St. Peter scored one goal in each half as the Saints outlasted Central Minnesota Christian 2-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday between two Section 2A opponents.

PRINSBURG -- St. Peter scored one goal in each half as the Saints outlasted Central Minnesota Christian 2-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday between two Section 2A opponents.

Devin Idso netted a goal in the 15th minute and Jonathan Favre scored another unassisted goal for St. Peter (8-5-2) in the 47th minute.

Aaron Wubben and Nathaniel Gerdes had defensive saves for the Bluejays (1-9). Goalkeeper Zach Zwart had 10 saves as St. Peter outshot the Bluejays 14-8.
