SAUK RAPIDS -- Willmar struck early and often to whitewash Sauk Rapids 4-0 on Thursday in boys soccer.
Willmar (8-4-1, 11-5-1) will take an 11-5-1 ledger into postseason Monday.
Josh Wright punched in Willmar's first goal at the four minute mark; Abshir Ahmed and Abdiqadir added two more scores over the next seven minutes.
Badal Ali scored the only goal of the second half.
Willmar controlled play firing 27 shots on Storm goalie Chris Rothstein. Keeper Josh Freitas grabbed three shots by Sauk Rapids (0-12, 0-15) at the other end for the shutout.
