WILLMAR -- The Fergus Falls Otters, true to their nickname, swam like a band of cheerful Otters to outpoint Willmar 97-88 on Thursday in a Central Lakes Conference swimming meet.
Fergus improved to 5-0 in CLC dual meets. Willmar is now 2-4 and 3-5 overall.
Senior diver Bennet Woltjer had a big night scoring 254.3 in his 6-dive routine. Sam Murphy placed third at 201.5.
Michael McLain won the 200 free style and the 100 free. Those were Willmar's lone individual firsts.
