GLENWOOD -- The Lakers allowed New London-Spicer to win only one match in both singles and doubles en route to collecting a 5-2 non-conference win Monday at their home triangular.

GLENWOOD - The Lakers allowed New London-Spicer to win only one match in both singles and doubles en route to collecting a 5-2 non-conference win Monday at their home triangular.

Jake Pederson won in straight sets at 1-singles for Minnewaska, which also got singles wins from Carter LaMont and Sam Peters, and doubles wins from Collin Stumpf/Cole Mercier and Matt Heid/Zack Evans.

Josh Proehl won at straight sets at 3-singles and the 1-doubles duo of John Jacobson and Chris Molenaar won in three sets for the Wildcats, which edged Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 4-3.

The Lakers also fell 4-3 to LPGE.
